FIRESTONE RACING ANNOUNCES
THE RETIREMENT OF
FOXTROT
With breeding season closing upon us, there have been lots of things happening on the breeding side at Firestone South. With changes comes heartbreak as we announce that broodmare Foxtrot will be headed to the retirement barn to be stabled with her mates The True Fallen For and Strike The Win.
We have had the privilege of foaling four babies on property before sending them off to their respective homes, with Foxy having three other foals with another owner. Twins Tears No More and Dry Your Tears have both reached successful Grade One status with many HoTY races and wins under their belts. Swing Dancer is just on the cusp of reaching grade one, with many successful races to her name. She is a big threat coming for the rest of this season and with the right races could become a killer mare.
The odd coloured filly Ephermeral has been continuously on the rise and is ready to break into HoTY competition and poses to be a threat. Foxy Passion is the filly who just hit the track this season and has already had great success on all tracks. Executioner, Foxy's second and last colt, is in yearling training with the knowledgeable staff at Firestone North, our training facility. Last but not least, Deceptive Darling is Foxy's last foal and once weaned, will be headed to North Diamond Manor to complete her training and will live there for the rest of her life.
Combined between all of her foals, Foxy's offspring have racked up 17 HoTY wins up to this point with more certain to come. There is without a doubt that her foals will continue to be successful and we can't wait to see what they do in the future. Foxy will enjoy lush pastures for hours a day and will continue to live her life at Firestone until the day she dies.
