Rosethorn Racing Press Release
What is Rosethorn Racing?
Rosethorn Racing is a new, small racing stable that is dedicated towards establishing a new pedigree out of beginning bloodlines. No horses will be bought, sold, or bred in or out of RR for the foreseeable future. We are focused on attempting to build a new quality Thoroughbred after our years of experience within the racing circuit. Isabelle has been wishing for some time to begin this experiment, our prospects will be entering this season, slated to debut as juveniles in year eighteen.
Is North Diamond Manor closing?
Absolutely not. Isabelle has no intentions of closing or otherwise changing NDM, the horses there now will be remaining there. NDM will continue in racing competition just as before. You may consider RR a sort of sub-stable, or branch off of NDM. It exists to house the experimental bloodline establishment away from the general racehorses (we all know Isabelle’s difficulty in refraining from foal explosions).
What will RR horses be like?
All of our horses will run equally on dirt and turf tracks. We plan on bringing four new horses along each season, two will be at the 5-10 furlong range, and two will be at 7-12 furlong range. After a few seasons we will see how things are going. To be fun, we are doing a new letter of the alphabet for each season’s horses names to begin with. Two will be fillies and two will be colts each year. We have a whole new staff at RR brought in as well, you will see new jockeys listed for horses racing with RR silks.
So, why RR?
Isabelle has learned a great deal the last four years of being on the racing circuits, her original dream of having a solid foundation bloodline began when she first opened Ivory Storms Stables with four creates. She quickly discovered she did not have enough experience, knowledge, or name around the areas to know what she was doing, so she gave up on her dream of a purebred stable in lieu of pursuing education and racing savvy (plus she couldn’t say no to all the horses and foals just begging her to buy them). Isabelle has just passed her four year anniversary of being in competition, and has decided she wants the best of both worlds. To keep her sanity and offer more creative freedoms, a second stable seemed to be the best option at this time.
Is there anything else we should know?
RR will operate much as NDM does, you will see differences in page layouts for racehorses, and things at RR might seem a bit darker, or perhaps more creative, then NDM is. There is no intention for the two stables to conflict with one another, except for perhaps in competition in later seasons. If for some reason this new venture does not go as expected, most likely RR will simply be absorbed into NDM. If you would like to check out Rosethorn Racing, the link is below in the dual signature. We are open for any questions or comments, thank you for the taking the time to read.
