Personality: There are only two words to describe Took the Night: boss mare. Tess is sassy, independent, and constantly needing to be in charge. She's the one kicking her stall door impatiently during feed time, and chasing the others away from the haypile out in the pasture. Stubborn and intelligent, Tess has no patience for a jockey trying to hold her back or rein in her speed- that would simply be a waste of time. Her energy is seemingly endless, and there is always enough left to kick out at whoever she feels is displeasing her. She is certainly not the most people-friendly (or horse-friendly, even) one in the barn, but her strong-willed nature makes her a favorite nonetheless.
