Week 2 February Maiden Turf - M 7F T
Win. Darkness Falls Place. Socialite Show. Best More or Less Fourth. Twilight Reign Fifth. Secrets Garden Secrets Garden: This was her third week in a row racing and she tired rapidly in the final furlong. Maybe give her until March Wk 1 before you try to break her maiden again. FORBIDDEN TO FLY MEMORIAL STAKES* - G3+ 6F D 4yo+
Win. Ares Place. Melodious Show. Valine RUSH STAKES* - G5+ 5F T 3yo
Win. Wings of Jayde Place. Amaris Show. Regal Rose Fourth. Seattle Lightning Fifth. Storm Warning I'm impressed at our competitive group of three year old sprinters! The fillies were tough thanks to the hot pace set by Seattle Lightning and Storm Warning, but I imagine the boys will be able to come back at the girls once the distance lengthens back out again! HURRY STAKES* - G5+ 5F D 3yo
Win. Mistweaver Place. Dauntless February Turf Stakes
WIN The Oddity place Wire Tap February Dirt Stakes
WIN Gold Rush place Pardon My French February Juvenile Dirt Faceoff - G5 7F D 2yo
WIN: Cataclysmic PLACE: The Blue Alien SHOW: Sweet Dreams February Maiden Marathon - M 12F D
WIN Ouro Lume PLACE Virtuoso SHOW Legionare fourth Katana fifth What So Not Ahhh, maidens... and a particularly marathon-oriented set of maidens as well. As ever, don't be upset with the maiden results because they'll do their thing at some point xP TEARS OF AN ANGEL MEMORIAL STAKES* - G3+ 7F T 4yo+
WIN Athena's Desires PLACE Artemis' Glory SHOW Hellfire fourth Simba fifth Tiny Dancer Tiny Dancer: This race was out of her league at this point in time. I really like her, but with such a sparse record and mostly undercard races, she really needs to inhabit the undercards for a bit to be able to run against this level. Simba: He's a good little runner, but again, at G3 he's not really ready to face this established group of HOTY horses. Hellfire: I think she was competitive here, but you probably shouldn't list that she's dirt-based on her page if you're going to run her in turf races STAY AHEAD STAKES* - G5+ 9F D 3yo F PREP FOR TRIPLE TIARA
WIN: Roses Rampant (Nose) PLACE: Hysteria SHOW: Luna De Soltera 4th: Winning Fire 5th: Italian Beauty 6th: Fabled Dreams Fabled Dreams: This filly was a bit out of reach here I would suggest running her in stakes races to get her confidence up more. She is an amazing filly. Italian Beauty: This field was large but she couldn't keep up here. She will pick up soon I just feel this race was a bit much for her with the massive field. She will bounce back. Winning Fire: The filly fought hard but she was in a deadly dual with Luna De Solterra. She is an amazing filly but I do see her coming around shortly. February Maiden Dirt
WIN The Good Fight PLACE Turbocharged SHOW Amaretto Stone fourth Wise Guy fifth Gallant Pup I felt that Gallant Pup needs distances longer than 7f. Maiden races are tough to judge because they are all at the same level of experience. Try running him at longer distances around 9/10f and see how he does there, I don't think he likes to shorten this much. SILLENIA MEMORIAL STAKES* - G3+ 12F T 4yo+ F/M
Win. Like A Lady Place. Melusine February Juvenile Turf Faceoff - G5 7F T 2yo
WIN: Minuet Trinity PLACE: Wayward Lass SHOW: Miss Abilene February Maiden Turf Marathon - M 12F T
WIN: Wild Annie PLACE: Belladonna SHOW: Winged Passion 4th: Moonshine 5th: Raven's Nest FLEET GODDESS MEMORIAL STAKES* - G3+ 10F D 4yo+ F/M
WIN. Impressionable PLACE. Fire Goddess SHOW. Coveted Faith 4th Beyond The Stars Beyond The Stars just isn't as HOTY savvy as the top three area, unfortunately. The top three are a bit more experienced and more likely to be more competitive when entered in the same field as one another. A dangerous mix. GET AHEAD STAKES* - G5+ 9F D 3yo PREP FOR TRIPLE CROWN
WIN. Prometheus PLACE. Cascabel SHOW. Tuff E'Nuff 4th Artic Fox Looking at the high class of the colts and fillies being entered in the TC and TT preps makes me feel really sorry for whoever is going to have to judge the actual races. These are some high grade horses, guys!

SunFrost win Pied Piper place Kindly Enough show The Good Fight GRADE FIVE TURF - G5 10F T
SunFrost win Stylishly Wild place Ice Fiend show Pure Innocence fourth Rising Wonder Ice Fiend and Rising Wonder (he's ADORABLE!!) were at each other's throats this race. They worked each other over well while Stylishly Wild easily took this over his younger counterparts and Pure Innocence snuck in for the show. Really difficult to decide between these juveniles - could have been anybody's race! You've got a potentially really good one in Stylishly Wild Isa - he's started the season off well!GRADE FIVE DIRT - G5 10F D

Collapsed into Grade Three Dirt Sprint (one win into G2, so figured fairer to collapse down) GRADE TWO TURF - G2 10F TISABELLE GRADE TWO TURF - G2 10F T FIRST Melusine SECOND A True Hero THIRD Vetanda FOURTH Sweet Mimosa FIFTH Secret's Surprise Given there were three closers, there was a wide gap from Sweet Mimosa, forced to the lead by A True Hero, and the rest of the field. The back pushed up hard but Hero was able to maintain his nose for second being overtaken by Melusine. As Mimosa faded at the very end Vetanda was able to get in to show. This was a clump at the wire, everyone was close.GRADE TWO DIRT - G2 10F D
Cruisey WIN Adrasteia PLACE Headstrong SHOW Aphrodite's Chant fourth Silent Heart fifth Noadiance GRADE ONE TURF SPRINT - G1 6F T
Sammy WIN: Summer Romance PLACE: Optical Illusion SHOW: Trinity 4th: Dancing on Nails He was just in a tight spot here I think while he has raced against these horses before I feel today wasn't his day. This shouldn't tarnish his record any as I see him immediately bouncing back.GRADE ONE DIRT SPRINT - G1 6F D
