Dirt RacesIntipidio Finish Derby - 9F - G5
Judge: Cruisey WIN Bona Fide PLACE Wrecking Ball show Vesuvius Jumponboard Derby - 9F - G4
Judge: Cruisey WIN Dark Intentions place Firefall Let It Ride Derby - 7F - G4 Gate One: Shady Biscuit Jockeyed by Terri Lane {entered at BSD also} Gate Two: Bulletproof jockeyed by Sidney Barnes Fusionelle Derby - 9F - G2
Judge: Ripley Win. Monarch's Journey (7 lengths) Place. Heart Of Rio Show. Silent Heart Fourth. Whispering Melody Fifth. Flashing The Declaration
Monarch's Journey gave the other horses a thrashing, easily stalking the pace set by Flashing The Declaration and Silent Heart. He pulled even with them on the turn and bounded away quite easily with only a tap to remind him to going onward.
Heart Of Rio: She's out of shape having not raced since July last year. If there are races missing off her record, you might want to find them Sammy. The lack of racing is really going against her. I imagine as she is six, she'll need stout campaigning to keep her in peak form.
Whispering Melody: I feel like she wants to run longer than 9F. She didn't really stand out in the field over the dirt at the distance.
Flashing The Declaration: I've always gotten the feeling that this one wants to run shorter distances.Carte Blanche Derby - 9F - G1 (DNR, only one entry) Gate One: Radiant Silver jockeyed by Timothy Andrews (can he go in Fusionelle if no other entries?) THE DARK SUNRISE DISTAFF* - 10F- 2YO-FILLIES-OPEN

Judge: Ripley Win. Eulogy Rise Place. Kindly Enough Show. Maleficent Jumping the Gun Stakes - 9F - G4
Judge: Ripley Win. Fantasy Island Place. Eavesdropper Show. Get Loose Fourth. Superb Curiosity Fifth. Genuine Risk Genuine Risk: The biggest problem for him is that he wasn't campaigned after September Wk 2 as a juvenile. I think he should be entered only at BSD in the 3yo only/grade restricted races. He's a talented colt, but against these older animals, he had no shot.Fusion Stakes - 9F - G2
Judge: Cruisey WIN Tiger Heart PLACE A True Hero SHOW Coveted Faith fourth Santana's Legend fifth Just A Song THE TEST OF PASSIONATE CLASS* -10F - 2YO, OPEN
Judge: Cruisey WIN Rising Wonder PLACE Wings of Angels SHOW Classy Lady fourth Pure Innocence fifth Passionist sixth In My Remains In My Remains: I hated placing him here and don't think I did it intentionally lol. He was forced off the pace by Rising Wonder and Passionist and got shuffled around real hard here in this field. I do think he will bounce back from this loss it was just unfortunate how he got jostled about.
Passionist: He took the early lead and just unfortunately ran out of gas at the end. The top three have a little bit more racing exposure under their belt and were able to handle themselves a bit nicer. Nothing wrong with him, in fact I think he's definitely one to watch this season alongside In My Remains.
Pure Innocence: Just got caught up in the middle of the field and was bustled around too much for her liking. I know she likes to have horses crowding her but this time around she lost her confidence going into the final turn which made her back off the lead just slightly because she couldn't see any open space. INTERNATIONAL STAKES* - 9F - 4yo+ Open
Judge: Ripley Win. Great Revenge Place. Spitterfly Show. Dancing On Nails Fourth. Final Conquest Fifth. Ground Zero Sixth. Celestia Dancing On Nails: I do think he will be able to stretch out, but today he was pressing a classy horse in Great Revenge who had more racing under his belt at this time. He does seem to be rounding into form though so it won't be long before he's back in the winner's circle.
Final Conquest: I think he belongs in the HOTY category now, but a win on his record would have given me more of the impression that he has confidence to face this group.
Ground Zero and Celestia: I would suggest returning them to the undercard ranks until they at least hit 12 wins. They both need confidence to take on this level of competition.WEST VIRGINIA DERBY* - 9.5F - 3YO PREP FOR TURF TRIPLE CROWN
Judge: Cruisey WIN Eternally Smoldering PLACE Laddie Luck SHOW Breaking Point fourth Incineration fifth Shuttershock Shuttershock: Was way under-classed here with only two wins to his name. I think you should build his record more and get more wins before facing this kind of class again.
Incineration: Great filly you have there CC and brave of you to take on these monster colts! She was just caught up at the end from these three colts but she should do extremely well once she has more experience against them. ALL ALONG STAKES* 9.5F - 3YO F PREP FOR TURF TRIPLE TIARA
Judge: Sammy WIN: Enchanting Soldier PLACE: Kismet SHOW: Celebrity 4th: Catastrophic

Week 3 Dirt RacesRoyale Prospect - 6F - P
Judge: Cruisey WIN Superbad PLACE Delightful Pyne SHOW Lady Pegasus fourth Sonny's Gem fifth The Fallen Jester It's hard to get a good feel of what The Fallen Jester can do with such little personality written. Once you finish that up and then enter him into some prospect races the judges will have a better feel for his personality.. I know he will be an exceptional sprinter with two amazing parents I just found it hard to read him today! Skippingodds Maiden - 7F - M
Judge: Cruisey WIN Rogue Prince [neck] PLACE Lousiana Blues SHOW Ghost fourth Mambo Mama fifth Realeza CANADIAN JUVENILE STAKES* - 12F - 2YO - FILLIES - M+
Judge: Lolly WIN. Authentic Aura PLACE. Ouro Lume SHOW. Amnesty Don't consider Amnesty's 3rd as a 'last', it was hard putting her there. While I felt Authentic Aura had this one in the bag today (she was in good shape in my eyes, after taking out a win against decent competition this month, and perhaps didn't work quite as hard as the other two early on), I struggled between the Second Place for Amnesty and Ouro Lume. In the end I decided Ouro Lume had made a good start this month, having already won at 12F -- and while these two had quite the battle, Amnesty's aggression and inexperience thus far at the distance perhaps tired her enough to give Ouro Lume the edge she needed to take the 2nd Place by a nose.NEW MEXICO CLASSIC CUP JUVENILE* - 8F - 2YO - COLTS - M+
Judge: Cruisey WIN Samaritan Hero PLACE Chocolatier SHOW Hamlet fourth Jacque Cousteau fifth Surrealism Enjoyable Derby - 7F - G5

Judge: Ender WIN Enrapture PLACE Animatia SHOW Winning Fire Fourth Ghostly Girl Fifth Italian Beauty Ghostly Girl: was edged out by Winning Fire by just a nose. Ghost will bounce back easily from this result. Italian Beauty: She is an amazing filly, but I think she's more suited to smaller field undercard races for now. Turf RacesIn-It-to-Win-It Prospect - 6F - P
Judge: Isabelle FIRST Mild Manic SECOND Adalia Both from the same sire, it came down to me viewing preferences, and lineage through Arlequinn is quite sprinter oriented. Adalia is attempting longer distances, so I feel the truer sprinter potential between the two is Mild Manic.Sweeping Maiden - 7F - M
Judge: Lolly WIN. Tap Out PLACE. Socialite MARYLANDER STAKES* - 12F - 2YO - FILLIES - M+
Judge: SunFrost win Wings of Angels place Peacebreaker show Oh The Irony fourth Piece Of Me This field killed me guys. Wings of Angels used her last few races experience and her versatile running style to just nail this down over two-time winning Peacebreaker. Oh The Irony was just caught by Peacebreaker at the wire. Piece of Me was most certainly in the mix but got unlucky against this group today. I wish I could dead-heat her for third but unfortunately can't XD All beautiful horses guys. I love all of them.SILVER GOBLIN STAKES* - 8F - 2YO - COLTS - M+
Judge: SunFrost win Constitution place In My Remains show The Raven fourth French Quarter fifth Apache Warrior sixth Passionist PASSIONIST WAS IN THIS FIELD YAY <3 Unfortunately he ran into some very keyed-up horses here and just missed a beat throughout the race. This was tough for a second outing, but he definitely learned a lot from this experience.
Constitution has been running well and I could see him stealing this today. In My Remains, I felt as though he'd really feed off of the competitive vibe here and would do well in this larger field.
Every horse in this field was super tough to place. In the end, The Raven seemed most likely to pick up third. French Quarter and Apache Warrior were both good, but I could see them slightly edged out with a quick pace up front and quite a few traffic problems for all horses to handle.
In the end, every horse in this field is awesome; large fields are freaking difficult to judge XD Eclat Stakes - 7F - G5
Judge: Isabelle FIRST Ruling Restraint SECOND Valaska THIRD Dudley's Girl Monster Bash Race - 6F - G4
Judge: Sammy WIN: Superb Curiousity PLACE: Moonstorm Magnality Running Stakes - 10F - G3

Judge: Holly WIN: Barely A Sound PLACE: Hellfire SHOW: Artemis' Glory (nose) 4th: Silent Snap 5th: Avengeable Barely A Sound: This mare was just waiting in the wings throughout the race. She was waiting for her chance to bite. These were some high calibur horses she was running against. She seems to have settled running at this distance. She pulled the upset here today and showed her competitors who's boss. This is a wonderful mare Isa. I have a feeling this season will be flawless for her.
Hellfire: Flame stumbled a little out of the gate but it didn't keep her down. She settled nicely at the rear with Barely A Sound and Artemis' Glory to her outside and inside. She certainly gained some ground in the stretch. Had it been one or two furlongs longer, she could very well have caught the older mare in front.
Artemis' Glory: Artemis was the strongest horse on the track today. She held her ground throughout the race and really put up a fight with Hellfire. Hellfire edged her out by about a length at the wire.
Silent Snap: Snapper just about edged Artemis out for third, but he finished in a strong fourth. He was the leader heading into the stretch but just couldn't fight off the ladies today. He is an impressive runner and will be snapping at the bit in his upcoming races.
Avengeable: Gee was the quickest horse from the gate and settled contently at the front with Silent Snap. He gave Snapper a run for his money before the ladies all started joining in on the fun heading into the stretch. He gave it his all. He is an incredibly strong racehorse. He will most definitely pull in some HOTY wins this season.AKITA ROSE STAKES* - 7F - 2YO - OPEN

Cruisey WIN Bohemian Rhapsody PLACE Miss Lieutenant show Raven's Nest STRIDE OF PERFECTION HANDICAP* - 7F - 2YO - OPEN
Judge: Holly WIN: Wayward Lass PLACE: Final Velocity SHOW: Phaedra 4th: Darkness Falls 5th: Classy Lady Wayward Lass: You could say it was a battle of the sisters. Do half sisters count? Lassie held on and edged out her undefeated half-sister by a tiny whisker. She was high energy ever since she was walked out to the saddling paddock. She was kicking with joy and seemed really happy I guess you would say. This was her race today.
Final Velocity: Vee was out for vengeance and was ready to keep going as an undefeated two year old. She was ready to do the job today. Lassie caught her right as they reached the wire for a photo finish. Some say it was a dead heat. Stewards called win to Lassie. Whichever it was, these two will certainly be some tough competition for each other if they meet again.
Phaedra: Phae didn't have the urge to back down. She broke swiftly from the gate and held back behind all the others. Her beautiful gray coat was an easy standout from her competitors. She obeyed well to her rider and was definitely close to the first two finishers. She will get her wins in.
Darkness Falls: The colt of the field, Shadow took the early lead and really set a couple lengths up ahead of the others. He tired some in the stretch and barely held off Classy Lady, who was itching to get ahead of him on the inside. His heart for racing never let up though. Let him have some more track time and he could very well be ready for some HOTY races.
Classy Lady: This race was just slightly short for this filly. She will definitely flourish in her distance range though. Had this race been just a couple extra furlongs longer, she could've reached near the top. She put up a good fight though. She most certainly won't disappoint you this season.Palfrey Stakes - 10F - G5
