Little Miss Innocent is, to say it simply, the turf queen. She could not be topped even by fellow HoFer El Sol Del Mar when she tried the turf. The turf was her surface, and any horse that protested would fall to their knees. She ended her successful racing career with a record of 73-32-24-11. She ran five to twelve furlongs successfully and could run on the sand almost as well as the turf, but disliked the loamy dirt surface with a passion.
Her major wins include, in year five, the Universal Cup, Continental Cup, Pegasus Stakes, Cox Plate, and the Breeder's Cup Filly and Mare Turf. In year six she won the Turquoise Sprint, the Queen Cup, Dream Cup, the Pegasus Stakes for a second time, the Continental Cup for a second time, the Breeder's Cup Turf, and the Rising Fury Memorial Stakes. She also placed in the year five Turquoise Sprint and Full Moon Derby as well as showed in the year five So Sassy Sprint. In year six she never placed lower than second, placing/winning in the Unicorn Horn Classic, Universal Cup, the Melbourne Cup, and the 2008 Dubai World Cup at Akita Rose Stables. Her racing career will be remembered by many.
As of these days she's a breezing partner one year and a broodmare the next. She hasn't yet produced any racing-age foals, but she does have a yearling The Innocent Skier by champion turf stallion Jet Ski and two twin foals on the way by Warlock. Her progeny will no doubt be amazing.
