The Fallen Jester

It was that time of year again and the Y18 juvenile string and Chris and Lawrence thought to get a good start in the matter. Chris was the jockey to a well recognized bloodline of Admonish, a daughter to Dylan Himself out of Union Jaque, Nature Spring acquired her from Grayson Meadows only until they return of course, the daughter of Dylan Himself has much to accomplish. Lawrence was chosen to ride The Fallen Jester, a prized bay colt by Aquatic Addiction and out of well known mare The True Fallen For, a mare by Nature Valley's own True Enough. Blame was a bit of a drama queen when it came to saddling her, rising her was an even more challenging factor however Chris took it like a pro and soon was able to calm the filly before progressing forward to the tracks. Lawrence had an easy ride ahead of him, Allen was gentle and a bit of a show off in the slightest. The colt is very aware when it is time to go to work and while he is new to the tracks Allen enjoyed running as much as he enjoys playing.
When they were set to face off Lawrence became quite pleased to know that both horses were different Allen seemed to fall back of the pack taking quite a few to find his strides while Blame enjoyed to fall in the middle of the Pack showing others whose the boss. With the clock ticking both jockey's were settled into the right positions as they soon was given the go by Mason Connelly as he started the go timer watching them as the ran along. The echoes of the hooves could be heard throughout the empty track but not before Blame leading with a little whinny to throw at the moment. Admonish was set to run the mile length while Allen was set to sprint he was easily on the fillies trail gaining momentum as they plotted along. Lawrence kept a stern but easy grip on the reins as Allen glided over the dirt around the turn to the back stretch.
Chris moved Blame to the outside letting her take to the track with her ears pinned Blame threw her head up before grasping farther gaining speed passed another furlong. The filly was still trying to understand the reason of a human on her back while she ran but once she realized that Chris was not going anywhere the filly bolted as if to say 'okay fine hows this for a ride?' Both horses held strong to their jockey's Allen remained rather quiet as he plotted his escape passed the filly. Once the final stretch came around both horses went into survival mode and Allen with the speed level on him took off that surprised Lawrence further, passing the wire with the two only whiskers from the win it was Blame who soon grazed passed Allen with a little snort from her nostrils.
After the run was over Blame decided to dance in a way brushing off her small success before Chris gained control over the bay filly. Lawrence could only chuckle at the thought as Allen stood his ground acting the professional part as Lawrence patted Allen on the neck for his hard earned work. Chris gained control over the behavioral filly before he took her off the track as Allen soon followed behind.
