WELCOME TO THE RING Welcome, everyone, to the Year Eighteen Sale! We have an especially large catalog this year, so the horses have been broken up into rings. Please also check out the Horses of Racing Age ring and the Breeding Stock ring. The catalog can be found here. Please also review the Conditions of Sale. The structure will be as follows:
Each horse will receive 12 hours in the ring. The dates and times for each horse will be listed in a schedule below. These times are in EST so please convert them to your own time zone accordingly. When the closing time comes (aka when the next horse is due into the ring), any later bids will not be considered. Any staff member may introduce the next horse into the ring when the time comes. Anyone can bid on any horse, not just those that showed interest in the pre-sale interest thread.
+ Starting bids will be what is stated in the catalog. If no price is specified, horse will start at $10,000
+ Bids can go up in any increment you choose
+ You do not need to wait for the 'auctioneer' to make the next bid.
+ Admins have the right to refuse a top bidder if issues arise
+ After bidding ends, please go to the Sales Office, where consignors will confirm who gets the horse! Consignors, please do this even if only one person bid on the horse. Discussion as to who gets the horse may take place there, but not in this thread.
+ If the owner is the registry or absent, horses will go to the highest bidder only.

Let's welcome into the ring a fine chestnut filly offered by Firestone Racing. Her name is Rather Risque and she is a yearling. For those looking for a hot dirt sprinter type, this may be your gal. Her sire has produced a grade one sprinter, Toss Up, out of 5 foals to be bred so far. Toss Up won the final leg of the Dirt Sprinter Crown, the Speedway Stakes and closed out his season with a third in the Breeders' Cup Sprint. Sophie's Voice, is a daughter of Cryin' Out Loud and Sophie Might, making her a half-sister to HOF mares Tears of An Angel and Lynara's Kingdom. She is also a half-sister to grade one winners Mighty News, Tears No More, Loud and Clear, Tears of Blood, Sophie's Pride, Dry Your Tears, Stiletto Allure and Phantasm Frost.

Hip 006 - Siren's Secretb. c. by Sea Siren, out of Samantha's Wisdom Next in the ring is a freshly bred yearling consigned by Crimson Haven Racing. By the lightly raced Sea Siren, this colt is out of the dam of very successful Y17 three year old Bona Fide as well as Wise Guy. The pedigree is foundation on both sides, making this colt a very nice and rare-lined addition to any racing string! Everyone, we've got an announcement! Hip 10 is a fresh juvenile scheduled into the wrong ring, so what we're going to do is take a short break and introduce the next hip, 23, into the ring at the scheduled time of 11:00am EDT! You can find Hip 10 supplemented into the schedule in the Horses of Racing Age ring!
