Personality: Al is a tough stallion. He is absolutely enormous, both in height and in muscle, and he knows it - it's not uncommon for handlers to get shoved into stall walls and dragged along bridle paths when trying to deal with Al. He's not exactly mean or angry, and would never bite or kick unless provoked, but he sure is intimidating. If you don't mess with Al, Al leaves you alone. His size also makes him a bit of a clumsy horse, always kicking his feed pans and tripping over his own feet. He's also notorious for hurting himself in stupid, uncanny ways - including the attempt to jump through his pasture fence that injured his foreleg and ended his racing career before it could begin.
