Highgrove Thoroughbred's would like to announce the presence of two fantastically bred fillies who had missed out on a mention in our last Yearling Showcase. We would like to say our Y16 Crop is officially complete with the addition of these two brilliant, level-headed fillies and they will be two of our most anticipated juveniles come the new year.

Material Girl

Material Girl is an incredibly exciting prospect, by Foolish Lad and out of Lawliet's Girl (By Merry Bay King), she is a filly who has the breeding to do some serious damage on the turf. With a range of 7-12F, she is an adaptable and flexible youngster who shows the promise to succeed in miles and marathons. She is spirited, tough, intelligent and very sound of mind. She has already got the staff wrapped around her finger, and shows a mental maturity beyond that of most yearlings as they approach their juvenile season. Keep a close eye on this young lady, as she's sure to shine!

Outlander

Outlander is just a little something special! By the up and coming sire, DT Jupiter and out of Native Gold, this was a very exciting pairing and the result is just what we had wanted. A half sibling to Innerstellar, Chatoyant and Doubloon Moon, this girl has got all the wow-factor we look for in a successful sprinter. Already showing off the makings of powerful hindquarters, this charming bay filly is built for speed. With the ideal combination of spirit and a manageable nature, she is a breeze to train and that's really going to pay off in her debut.
