[attr="class","boxsub"]an original horse racing sim ★

[attr="class","boxtext2"]
The Final Furlong is not one, not two, but three sites brought together underneath one roof. All of these sites are horse racing sims and that has been and always will be, their primary focus. They are not your average racing SIM. Our races are incredibly unique with an unrandomized judging system, three separate tracks and over ten years of activity.
[break][break]
These three sites were originally sister tracks with everyone going from one site to another entering their horses in races, some having horses become champions on one site or the other. Out of the three, Green Horse Fields was the first to surface in 2007. The site was created by Snowflake and ran under her leadership for years before being handed off to Sunfrost. GHF alone has been active and running smoothly for ten years.
[break][break]
The Wire was created by Cavallo and rose to existence shortly after Green Horse Fields back in 2008. The two have been running alongside other and members would have the option to race their SIM horses at both of the tracks, experiencing different types of races. With the introduction of The Wire, the American Triple Crown, a favorite race series among many, was added.
[break][break]
In the April of 2015, Kenren introduced the younger of the three sites, Battlestone Downs which filled in the gaps with races that were made specifically for mares and fillies as well as the lower graded horses, such as G5's and G4's. The site recently added the Turf and Distance series for 3 year old horses as well.
[break][break]
Now these sites have come together, each being their own separate track, complete with everything that made them, them. These sisters have finally come together to benefit the community and allow all of the players to compete within one house to try and get to the final furlong.
[break][break]
Welcome home, players.
[break][break]
Note: Veteran members can still access old records by clicking the respective links, Green Horse Fields, The Wire and Battlestone Downs[break][break]
Perhaps one of the most exciting things about Final Furlong is that you can own and manage your very own stable. Breathe life into your stable by giving it a name, making a webpage and striving to make your name known across the game.[break][break]
You have the option to run a stud farm, racing farm or both. Which path will you take on the road to success?[break][break]
Race your horses in prestigious races including real-life ones such as the Kentucky Derby, Breeders' Cup, Dubai World Cup and more. Start up with a newbie 2 year old and raise them into a been there-done that 5 year old. [break][break]
We don't use any 'stats' to determine the winner of our horse races. Every member here can be a judge of a race and through your horse's personality, record and their owner's own writing ability, winners are born. Different judges have different preferences, different races call for different types of horses. There is no judge bias here, the horses decide the winner.[break][break]
At the end of the day everyone loves foals and loves seeing what their favorite horses offer back to the racing industry. You choose the sire and dam, you determine the looks, personality, preferences and name of the foal. By managing your breeding stock, you determine whether to race the foal yourself or sell them to someone else.

This is the game. How will you run it?
