Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone. I hope everyone was able to fill themselves up on poor defenseless turkeys who probably had a wife and three kids and a 9-5 job. (Kidding..probably)

I've got a few quick updates for everyone and a few changes that will be made in the coming weeks as we approach Christmas.

Race Results
There are two ways for you to look up the race results for your horses. It's a matter of user preference when it comes down to which one you actually use. As always the race records will be found in the RACE FORMS & RECORDS board located within every track category. 

You will notice that there are now two separate sub-boards for records. MONTHLY RECORDS  have the race results separated by week all in one thread per month. You will find all the results for that given month in one thread. THREAD RECORDS are just the actual threads that you originally posted your entries in. I've noticed that some people prefer the former and some prefer the latter so I've left both available to everyone. Both of these will have their results separated by the year as well. You may find the winners of TC/CT,etc in the GHF Hall of Fame.

Major Race Board Deletion
As much as you guys probably love our thousands of sub-boards, we are going to be doing away with a lot of them. This is to just to allow the site to be a bit more aesthetically appealing in some areas. The major races who will have their boards removed will be listed below: said races will be added to the normal racing entry forms. Any races that have a history/about page will remain in the major races sub-board, along with a master list of the major races at that track. Please realize that not all major races will get their own 'thread' in the major race sub-board.

The Wire:  Dubai World Carnival,  Canadian Triple Crown, Dawn Treader Cup, Canadian Triple Tiara, Daybreak & Twilight Stakes, Risorgimento Cup. *TW Finish Cup has had its sub-boards removed and condensed into one board.

New Races
By the end of the year I hope to have added a handful of new races to Battlestone Downs. These will be restricted races such as Maidens, G5+G4, and there will be a new race restriction race that is limited to Maidens that are 3-4 years old as well - just to give juveniles a better chance instead of having to go against older, more mature horses. I don't think many of them will be HOTY, but we shall see.

I've noticed that we've gotten some really large fields as of late (which is awesome!) but I know it probably sucks to judge those races at times. There will probably be more than 5-7 races added to BSD before the end of the year, just to see how things will balance out.

Horse Profiles
If you haven't done so already - please make sure that your horse's info is up-to-date in the registry. This includes current owner, page url's and status.

I'd also like to see earnings on horse pages now (optional still, nevertheless)! If you haven't been keeping track of earnings over the years - don't stress. You can just start adding up the races starting from this week onwards.
