The Dawn Treader Cup was one of the crowning jewels of the all the races held on the foreign tracks of MHS. It was in these races that horses earned names for themselves and established themselves as serious racehorses. Run 9 furlongs, this race is opened to all horses that think they have the chance to stake a claim at success. Throughout the history of the DTC, there have only been two horses who have won this race twice and they are GS Remington and Nightshade.
This race will run four times throughout one race year, once in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The race though originally run on the turf has been modified to run on the dirt to give some more attention to the fantastic dirt horses that call The Wire home.
