New Races Added at BSD for Y17
& TW Schedule Revisions
Heyooooo everyone! Rendezvous, your rambunctious record keeper here with an update! kenren , the sponsor and founder of Battlestone Downs has added more races to the schedule. Not only were undercards added, however, many real-life major races were added to add a bit more fire to the competition this year and to the years to come.
The major races that were added will be similar the major races over at The Wire (many of those have their own respective boards) in terms of importance and purse. Some of these races will have their own specific purses which can be found in the purse chart. For those of you that keep track of your horse's winnings (which you should since it makes your horses look even more spectacular than they already are), races that differentiate from the normal purse chart will be depicted with an **. Sounds simple enough seeing that HOTY races are already depicted with an *, so HOTY races with an ** are all the more special for it.
The respective purses for the HOTY** races will be added over the weekend.

For DECEMBER WEEK 4, the Old Tribute Cup has returned and will run in the years that BSD doesn't host the Breeders' Cup. The Old Tribute Cup is great for horses that members don't think are quite ready to take on the challenge of the Breeders' Cup.
The respective purses for the HOTY** races will be added over the weekend.

The BSD race forms will be updated accordingly as time goes on!
Revisions for The Wire
The Wire's race schedule has been completely revamped to make it more aesthetically appealing. The HOTY races have been separated and grouped together to make it easier to search through and to resemble GHF and BSD's schedules.
Also, the Triple Crown & Triple Tiara board, Youth Challenge and Turf Challenge boards (per advice of admin ripley ) have been removed from The Wire. Going forward the Triple Crown/Tiara races will take place across all three tracks as follows:
Green Horse Fields
Kentucky Derby
Acorn Stakes
The Wire
Preakness Stakes
Mother Goose Stakes
Battlestone Downs
Belmont Stakes
Coaching Club American Oaks
The Youth and Turf Challenges takes place solely at Green Horse Fields so keep that in mind when preparing your juveniles for those upcoming races later in the year.
