The Oddity New Ownership Workout
Just as Tony thought they couldn't get any more horses, they get more horses. The stable was growing rapidly, with the new additions from Valkyrie Racing. He thought Wildcat King and Chetory would be his last workout, but he forgot about the last addition: The Oddity. The roan filly was practically shivering in nervousness as she was walked around the track, her eyes wide. Mason started to turn her in a circle, her body visibly relaxing as he did so. Vibe, on the other hand, was calmly cantering around the track without a single thing bothering him. Tony was hoping the chestnut would help ease the nerves of Oadie, but it seemed like she didn't really click with any of the horses at Crimson Haven and it seemed as if she would rather stay with her humans.
The horses lined up at the gate, The Oddity twitching slightly. As soon as they opened, both runners started slow, but it was Vibe that took the lead. His speed kept him in the front, but he was always close to Oadie. As soon as they reached the turn, Oadie started to make her move, pushing Vibe to his limits. The chestnut pushed back, making it clear he wasn't going down without a fight. The two horses battled their way down the track until Vibe pulled away, his stride lengthening. He crossed the wire a good distance from The Oddity, a slight sweat breaking out over his coat. The jockeys pulled their horses up, coming to a halt. "That was okay, considering Oadie hasn't ran for a couple months." Tony nodded his head, then dismissed the horses and their riders.
