The Wire Finish Cup Turf

PLACE. Devil's Flair [nose]
SHOW. Scintilla
The gentleman proved to Scintilla that today was not a day for ladies' night. Notorious was raring to go today and tried to take a bite out of his handler more than three times. Honestly, the stallion acted like he was the energizer bunny during the post-parade and when being loaded into the gate. The last time Notorious visited The Wire Turf was back in Y15 as a juvenile, he has not forgotten the feeling of this track which gave him an extra push today.
Devil's Flair visited the juvenile turf just one year before Notorious, but the memory was still there. Devil gave Notorious an incredibly hard time today out on the track and insisted on encouraging Notorious to come out of his comfort zone of the pack and edge further. This ended up being a mistake, however, as Notorious took off like a rocket just as Devil got a nose on him.
The ever lovely Scintilla tried her absolute hardest today and fought against the boys ever single step of the way. Notorious refused to let her get past him and when she tried to do so, Devil's Flair would cut her off. I love this lovely lady, but honestly the boys were asses today.
