cavallo Could you give more specific comments? I feel that Chocolatier should have done better than Amaretto Stone and All In based that both are not HOTY quality racers yet and Chocolatier has won several, including one at 5 furlongs. I feel fourth would have been a more appropriate placement for him, I obviously know these results stand but I don't see him as deserving sixth.

FTH Juvenile Turf Mile - 8 furlongs Grade 5+ WIN Wayward Lass PLACE Tisiphone SHOW Constitution fourth Wings of Angels fifth Piece Of Me
DQ: Foxy Passion [dirt]
Piece Of Me is actually doing really well this year, considering the cutthroat competition, but this was a pretty large race to test her again in a HOTY. I'd try to find smaller-field HOTYs to try her in, or just keep chugging along with her in undercards until you can find some.
I believe Wings of Angels is capable of winning at this distance, but I thought the other three were more suited and primed for the mile while Wings of Angels seems to really favor the distance races.

Isabellenone of the horses in this race were deserving of an out of place ranking - to be completely honest. Looking at each horse - Sweet on You had perfect progression and poised for this win. You're correct, Choclatier did win at five. i'm not saying that six is out of his range but all of the top four had more experience and success within the shorter distance ranger - ergo they were just better prepped in my mind for this race. Sunrise Spell, also had experience at the longer distances, but if you look at her win record....all 6F. Cataclysmic had also had more success there in the shorter distance and All In, just more experience in that range in general.
