Hip 037 - Riot Actch. f. by The Rising, out of Dirty Diana Next into the ring is a chestnut filly consigned by Battle Brook Stable. Riot Act is a daughter of The Rising, a hot newer sire whose first foals on the track have done very well. This filly will be a half to Rise Me Gold, winner of two legs of the Triple Tiara just last year, The Raven, Eulogy Rise, and Rising wonder through the sire, who himself is by a Hall of Famer. The dam, Dirty Diana, was a very nice race mare who reached grade one status and finished her career with a second in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. This is her first foal to race.
