THE YOUTH CHALLENGE** - G5+ 11F D 2YOS WIN Flashbang PLACE Bold Trick SHOW Aristaeus fourth Samaritan Hero fifth Charmed Weapon sixth Wings Of Angels
Y'all probably can't actually understand how excited I was to open up this race, but I was. How incredible is it that we have this many nice horses in their division, and this isn't even all of them? Aristaeus faced a very hot field today, with a lot of riders knowing full-well who the horse to watch would be. Perhaps it was the massive effort in the other legs of the Challenge or maybe the top two simply had his number today - either way, Flashbang ran an incredible race with Bold Trick and Aristaeus breathing down his neck at the wire. Nothing should be taken away from those that finished out of the money - as I said, this field is absolute quality, and I expect them all to challenge each other for years (even the next month??) to come.
Wings of Angels: While she did win the Matron back in May, this dirt race was a lot to throw her after running so well on turf this year. She's capable of both, but she's definitely got much more experience, preparation, and confidence over turf.

WORLD COLT CUP** - G4+ 10F T 3YOS+ WORLD TURF CUP QUALIFIER Win. Eternally Smoldering Place. Devil's Flair Show. Natural Selection Fourth. Laddie Luck Fifth. Eavesdropper
Eavesdropper: I would definitely keep him at the G2 only level until he grades up to get his confidence up. This was a tough race against this caliber competition.
