SPEEDY SPEED SPEED STAKES* - G5+ 6F T 2YOS THE GREEN SPRINT SERIES WIN Tisiphone PLACE Everlasting Gift SHOW Final Velocity fourth Miss Abilene
Tisiphone upset superstar stablemate Everlasting Gift in the closing strides of the race, taking the win by a nose
MERRY BAY KING MEMORIAL STAKES* - G3+ 12F T 3YOS WIN Wild Havoc PLACE Eternally Smoldering SHOW Mr. Wild
It's apparently a day for upsets. While Eternally Smoldering has been having a stellar year, Wild Havoc basically came from left field and stunned the crowd with an impressive show of his former composure.

GOLDEN SLIPPER STAKES* - G5+ 9F T 2YOS THE TURF CHALLENGE SERIES Win. In My Remains Place. Rising Wonder Show. Peacebreaker Fourth. Hyperion
*I love Hyperion, but as his first time running at nine furlongs with a very moderate pace, he just kind of stayed even keel today. With his pedigree, I wonder if he'd be like my Luna in relishing both the turf and dirt.

JUST A TROT FUTURITY* - G5+ 9F D 2YOS THE YOUTH CHALLENGE SERIES Win. Aristaeus Place. Samaritan Hero Show. Charmed Weapon Fourth. Flashbang Fifth. Authentic Aura
Flashbang: He might have placed higher if he wasn't coming off a couple months' worth of layoffs.
Authentic Aura: I really like her and think she'll be tough in filly only races. With more maturity, I could see her handling the boys a bit better. Her weakest races appear to be when she is placed in open company.

BALLET BALL FUTURITY* - G5+ 6F D 2YOS THE YOUTH SPRINT SERIES WIN Chocolatier PLACE Icarus Flight SHOW Cataclysmic fourth Sunrise Spell fifth Foxy Passion
I didn't really want to judge this, but apparently nobody else did either xD Obviously some of these horses have been more successful than others, but I do believe they are all of equal QUALITY. This was an uncomfortably slow race without the presence of a front runner, and that put the closers at a disadvantage. However, the ones on the front weren't particularly comfortable either, namely Icarus Flight forced to be too much the pace. All of this left the door open for Chocolatier, who managed to get a smooth preferred trip from start to finish.
Please note that the order of finish doesn't necessarily reflect level of talent here... all of these 2yos are incredibly strong in their division, and have the potential to shake up the order at any point in time as young horses tend to do!
