So I am thinking of retiring some of my stock or at least cutting down a bit. As the year is progressing my job and college is picking up as well. I also have to start my externship as well coming soon once I finish my course program. I just wanted to get ideas of what people thought of who I should retire below is the potential list of the horses I was gonna retire....
StarFire (after a few more races)
Bonfire
The Apathy
Noadiance (after a few more races)
Dancing Fool
Queens Honesty
Flaming Confidenza (after a few more races)
Dark Intentions
Just wanting know what everyone's thoughts are if these horses were to retire.

Here are my thoughts on your ponies! StarFire: Race to G1 and retire Bonfire: If you keep him racing, I think he might pick up as a five year old. He just needs consistent racing! The Apathy: It seems as though she is done racing, based off of her most recent results. Definitely a good broodmare prospect though. Noadiance: Another that seems as though he's done racing. Get to G1 and retire! Dancing Fool: Needs consistent racing! I feel as though he's not had a fair chance thus far. Race him at six; he's got the bloodlines to do great things, with good consistent racing that is. Queen's Honesty: Race her consistently and then decide!  Flaming Confidenza: She is SUCH a good mare. Race her through some grade one undercards, build her into HoTY, and she might have a really great six year old season if you race her consistently through the end of this year. Dark Intentions: Race at five! He's developing so nicely right now. |

I agree with Frosty. The Apathy seems to have lost her desire to run, but she'll make a good broodmare for you! I think Noadiance is done racing as well, if you can get him to G1 soon I'd retire him. Bonfire is doing well for you to retire him. I think if you wanted to keep him running, give him to a newer stable on a lease so at least he has a job. Flaming Confidenza can do good things if she's raced consistently. I always liked her!

Definitely don't retire Dark Intentions, get him going twice a month and race him through another season.
