Crystal I strongly urge you to scratch Crooked Intentions from that race, she is not capable of taking on that field of champion stallions. See my note at BSD to enter her there.

Saskatchewan Derby - 10F - G5 WIN Vesuvius PLACE SeizeTheThrone SHOW Galaxy Guardian fourth Forget Me Not
DQ: Chaotic Limitations
ahhh, what a pretty open G5 field. Keep these ponies going! That being said, the 3yos were still at a disadvantage physically against the 4yos at this point in the year.

Manitoba Maiden - 9F - M FIRST Amaretto Stone SECOND Arrows Away THIRD Man O'Glory FOURTH Devilish Fox FIFTH Night Terror SIXTH Carpe Noctern
Amaretto felt fresh and experienced to take this win today. The lower placements will get there with some more track time. It's not fun to put horses so low, keep your chins up!

Per Kenren, Crooked Intentions is not allowed to switch races. If Crystal has not been on to make a determination of her placement within 12 hours of this post please scratch her so we don't hold up results.

BRITISH COLOMBIA DERBY* - 9F - 4YO+ - G3+ WIN. Sun King PLACE. Coincidence SHOW. Incognito 4th Barely Smokin 5th Crooked Intentions
I hate everything about this race, like who gave y'all the AUTHORITY to put all these good gents in one race? WHO I SAY?! Sun King comes in for his first win in a good while after a two-month layoff which actually worked in this stallion's favor. He came in with his head on straight and ready to take on horses that he's probably seen before during his successful racing career. Coincidence and Incognito were actually fighting for that second place finish and it ended up with a photo finish with Incognito just a whisker behind Coincidence. Barely Smokin didn't seem to have his head in the game today and spent a great deal of time at the back of the pack until the home stretch. This may have worked with another group of horses, but with the top three they were already fighting for that lead position by the time Barely Smokin put on his gas. Crooked Intentions unfortunately felt herself outdone by the formidable stallions who have many a major race under their belt. I'd try her with either less HOTY-experienced stallions, younger colts or other fillies and mares.

Nacelle Stakes - 10F - G5 WIN. Dudley's Girl PLACE. Fever Pitch SHOW. Moonshine 4th Grisaille 5th Celestial Sword
Who said girls ruled and boy's drooled? Obviously the fillies in this race as they outdid their male counterparts today. Out of all of these horses, Dudley's Girl has had the most experience on the track and was a bit more at home having been racing for roughly two years in her career. Honestly? I'm surprised that she's still a G5. Keep her in undercards to boost her confidence and she should have a decent season this year.
Grisaille, a 3 year old, has a bit of experience on the track and she found herself spooking a tad from the gate and running herself a bit too hard to catch up to such a large field. This enabled Fever Pitch to get the upper hand and overcome her at just the right moment. Moonshine had been a bit slow to start, but due to Grisaille burning out a bit he was able to over take her towards the end, using the inside turn to his advantage. I hated to put horses out of the money, but not everyone can be a winner. Celestial Sword dogged Grisaille and Moonshine during the entirety of the race but couldn't up his game in time.
